This one is an exercise in capturing the sense of light and landscape as summer transitions to fall. In September, the sun is almost halfway on its journey to winter and is settling toward the fall equinox. It stays lower in the sky, even in the middle of the day which brings longer shadows all day - especially early and late.
Green foliage has also changed, fading and dulling as they start to change to fall color.
This demo offers a look at a color palette for late summer greens, crucial elements for representing 'long light' and techniques that work to pull it all together.
