Artists have ‘posed’ ordinary household objects into still life set ups for centuries. The purpose was to study composition ideas while learning how light, form, transparency and reflection affect color and color perception.
This class takes the idea and turns it into an online atelier where we’ll paint together from a “live” still life set up.
We’ll learn how to capture the sense of ordinary still life with color, and creating dynamic compositions at the same time.
