THE ARTIST’S KITCHEN (RECIPES)
“Nearly Spring”
Winter melts away into mud and shimmering puddles as spring approaches. The mood of the landscape teeters between merry and melancholy. A muddy, rutted country road captures it as well as any scene.
“A Winter Day”
This painting was done in the studio, inspired by a compelling country landscape scene from near my home in Vermont. The scene is a familiar one that I visit to sketchand painted regularly.
“Hill Country In Winter”
“Hill Country In Winter” - 14”h x 13”w framed to 20”h x 16”w. This painting is a studio piece that explores the rhythms of snow covered fields in hilly terrain.
“Field At The End Of Winter”
A study of warming and brightening light in a simple rural scene, this painting also expresses a peaceful time at the transition from winter to spring.
