“Studio Set Up” - watercolor still life painting

“Studio Setup”

Painting is 7 1/2” x 10” framed to 11” x 14”

A shelf under a window is a really terrific place to set up groups of still life type objects - glasses, jars, bottles, containers of different materials and so forth. I can leave the set ups in place for sketching and painting different views.

The window lets in a lot of morning light which makes for different appearances.

This painting is one of those studies done with a messy palette that hold way more colors than I normally use. In this case some of the colors that I use infrequeently, seemed just right for the set up and the light.

The painting can be seen in my Studio-Gallery and is available for purchase online.
