“Two Roads”
“Two Roads'“
Painting is 6 1/2”h x 9 1/2”w. Framed to 11” X 14” in a simple light brown frame.
Early spring is also known as mud season in Vermont. It's not the most popular painting subject, but has a stark beauty that reveals warming sunlight along with glistening mud and puddles.
The scene is mostly neutrals colors - browns and grays - in a flat landscape. The composition is activated with a bit of movement in the road leading to the shimmering puddle and muddy intersection of two roads.
This painting can be seen in my Studio-Gallery and is available for purchase online.
