A print of an original watercolor painting done while on a cruise along the lovely and dramatic Douro River in northern Portugal.
The original is a sketch that resides in one of my travel sketchbooks. My sketchbook work is done for my own edification so the individual paintings are not for sale. But this image has some life that makes it attractive as a piece of art for the wall.
This work was literally done while the boat was cruising. It also happened to be the first image of the trip so was a bit of a warm up, just to get a feel for the area, the geography and the landscape.
