Sometimes it takes a while to get to a frame. It’s a very different subject and location from most of my work and didn’t work thematically for most exhibits. A recent shipment of frames provided some extras for works like this that hadn’t been in a frame since being painted.
This painting captures the Longfellow Bridge over the Charles River in Boston. Painting was done en plein air during the COVID pandemic. The focus is monumental structures that give it the moniker "Salt & Pepper" Bridge.
